Dennis Browne Splint
The Dennis Browne Splint is primarily used in the treatment of clubfoot (congenital talipes equinovarus) in children, especially following the casting phase in the Ponseti Method protocol. This brace consists of a lightweight metal bar attached to shoes set at specific angles, with the goal of maintaining correction and preventing relapse. It is a critical part of long-term success in clubfoot management. At Al Amal, our Denis Browne Splint is manufactured using safe, child-friendly materials and includes soft microfiber straps to ensure maximum comfort and skin protection. We also offer customizable shoe colors and designs to make the brace more appealing and acceptable to children and parents.
Supramalleolar Orthosis (SMO)
is a custom-made brace designed for children with balance difficulties, joint hypermobility, or mild foot pronation/supination. It extends just above the ankle bones (malleoli) to provide targeted support while allowing for natural foot motion. At Al Amal, our SMOs are crafted using high-quality German plastic and soft microfiber straps, ensuring both comfort and functional stability. We also offer customizable colors and designs, making the brace more appealing and encouraging for children to wear consistently.
